Belated Father's Day


Raine decided a month prior to the day that she wanted to make something "very special" for her dad this year and that she wanted to make it out of the woods. On the day before the big event we took a hike up our river and gathered all the perfect pieces. When we got home she went straight to work and ordered me about like a general, "Mom, I need the top of that cardboard box, and glue and paper and all my markers." She had a vision and as my job was to put glue in exactly the spots dictated she applied her bits and bobs with an artistic fever and within minutes a masterpiece was born.
